Giving teams the ‘data-smarts’

By Pia Lee, CEO, LIW

Our gut feel or intuition can tell us a lot but when it’s backed by data, it makes us feel safe enough to really get into action.

Google’s Project Aristotle became one of the largest pieces of global team research with an aim to answer the question “What makes a team effective at Google?”. Their journey and findings enable us to answer that question for our own teams.

What does this mean for leadership?

Practical, usable data by the team and for the team enables the right conversation to be had and smart decisions to be made, leading to higher performance.

Squadify is identifying that ‘straight talking without offence’ is a skill that many teams are not comfortable with. So talking about that piece of data for starters, would  seem a very smart move!
